Nalin is the Executive Chairman of Khaitan Holdings and Managing Director of Riverdale. He is a Business Graduate from London School of Economics, Dubai and has a Global Management degree from Regent’s College, London. Hailing from an industrial family, Nalin, joined his father in business at an early age of 17.

Nalin is aware of how the business is run and is keenly focused on shaping it for future. He works closely with his management team to manage diverse business interests in sectors like telecommunications, retail, mining, investments, sports, and technology.

Ronald has over two decades of experience in Swiss and international taxation. He is the founder of BEAU HLB, incorporated in 2002 after the demise of Arthur Andersen in 2002. Ronald advises and guides international groups - notably in the energy and finance sectors - in the development of their tax policies.

He also devises profit-sharing and remuneration schemes for management echelons and draws up transfer pricing policies. He manages all legal aspects relating to corporate restructuring while overseeing private estate planning and wealth management for private clients

Ronald has been a director on the board since 2015.

Raman has over two decades of experience in corporate finance M&A, and capital markets. He has extensive experience in Energy, Infrastructure, & Steel & Mining space.

Raman joined Essar Group in 2000. He incorporated Riverdale Commodities in 2014 and was appointed its CFO and served in this capacity until 2018.

Raman joined the board of Riverdale in September 2022 as an independent director offering strategic direction to the growth of the company.

With 30 years of professional multi country and multi product trading experience, Hardeep describes himself as a consummate business focused individual with an eye for detail. His key strength lies in building relationships with customers as well as teams who serve them.

Hardeep has travelled and transacted extensively to all sourcing and sales regions across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East in products like Coal, Coke, Steel, Mineral Ores, Chemical, and Industrial Raw Materials, gaining in-depth knowledge of these businesses.

He has spent nearly 20 years of his working career in Kiev before moving to Dubai to head the middle east operations of Steel Mont Trading.

He joined Riverdale in October 2022.

Alberto has been active in Commodity Trade Finance for more than four decades. For the last 11 years he has been with Société Générale, where he worked as Director in the commodity trade finance department.

He started his professional life with BNP and spent many years with Credit Suisse group, UEB and BNP Paribas. He has delivered lectures about trade finance at the University of Zürich. Today he is active as a director in a trading company.

Daniela has spent 18 years in commodities sector, 14 of which as a banker. She has worked with BNP Paribas and ING, first as a Senior Risk Officer and then as an Advisor for Environmental and Social Risk.

Today she runs a company called Oulhenco out of Geneva, intended to help small and medium traders in ESG practices, identifying ESG risks, setting up of code of conducts, policies, processes, management system practices.

Twenty years of experience within the Legal & Compliance Departments of Republic National Bank of New-York (HSBC Republic), BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA and ING Belgium, Brussels, Geneva Branch, as Senior In-house counsel [Head of Legal, Compliance & Client Secretariat of ING/Head of Litigation, Legal Investigation & Legal Financial Security at BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA].

Acts in a broad range of contractual, financial transactions, pre-contentious and contentious matters, international and cross-border complex transactions. Specialized in international commercial legal and regulatory matters, under both advisory and (pre) litigation issues, including by acting as Counsel in the scope of major international arbitration with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI), Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), under Rules No 125 and 126, and also under the FOSFA Arbitration Rules, on contractual and contentious matters which arise between traders and their counterparties, owners, terminals, freight forwarders, surveyors and port authorities, with a focus on commodities (soft, oil, metal) and shipping transactions, the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (the LMAA) and others.

Anil is a seasoned professional with nearly forty years of experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Management and Raw Material Procurement for large integrated steel plants in India. He has strong leadership experience of managing teams of 100+ members.

He has also worked in energy (coal and power) and mineral sector where he was responsible for leading mining activities, property acquisition, and project implementation of large steel plants.

Anil has previously worked with Bhushan steel, TATA BSL and JSPL.

Gopal has over 17 years of experience in natural resources (coal/ iron Ore/oil & gas), mining, steel, and shipping. Has worked across multiple geographies (Africa/ South America/ MENA/ Southeast Asia) with culturally diverse groups of people. His expertise lies across functions such as business development, strategy, managing supply chain and trading of bulk commodities.

He has proven ability to lead cross functional teams, structure transactions negotiating win-win business deals, improve working capital, and manage risks proactively while operating in a highly matrix environment

He has previously worked with Jindal Steel and Power Limited leading their raw material sourcing and Chevron Shipping in technical role. He is an engineering graduate with Masters (MBA) in Finance & Operations from a leading Indian business school.

Visakh is a Chemical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology with over 16 years of success in Petroleum Oil Trading and Risk Management.

Skilled in executing hedges during Platts Window to optimize value. He has a proven track record in working in the capacity of Risk manager for both Oil Trading focused organization and Oil Refining oriented companies. He also has in-depth knowledge of Petroleum Oil Cargoes / Gas Supply / Structured Finance / ISDA Agreements with multiple counterparties.

He has previously worked in companies like Essar Oil, Qaiwan Group & Rock Petroleum

Jacques has over 25 years of experience in shipping various liquids as well as trading biofuels.

His roles included chartering as owner and principal, from crude to vegoils or ethanol and he has been leading freight liquid books as well as biofuels books for a variety of companies including world leading companies. He also has developed a deep understanding of the crucial role of logistics in commodity and fleet trading.

Jacques joined Riverdale in February 2023 as Senior Trader – Ethanol.

Yvann is a young professional immersed in the oil and gas industry as a market research analyst and trading assistant. His analytical and business development skills pushed him to a trading role. Studying in the Middle East (UAE) while trading distillates and crude in Africa allowed him to build relevant knowledge on those critical regions of the oil and gas industry. He values solid long-term relations with counterparties while aiming at optimizing company P&Ls.

Yvann joined Riverdale Commodities SA as a junior oil trader in November 2022 to focus on African continent.

Anahita Nezam is a Structured and Trade Finance specialist with 15+ years of experience in originating and structuring commodity related financing in various sectors (Energy, Metals, Softs), using different types of financing solutions (pre-export, trade finance, structured finance, corporate loans, storage financing facilities, acquisition financing).

She began her career in 2006 at BNP Paribas in the Energy & Commodities division of the bank, working on the structuring of medium- and long-term financings in Africa and Middle East for Oil producing companies. Later she joined Louis Dreyfus Commodities, where she was responsible for managing the utilization of trade financing instruments.

Anahita joined Riverdale in 2018 as CFO.

Frédéric has more than 20 years of experience in commodity trade and structured finance on both sides, i.e. banking and trading companies.

He has worked with BNP Paribas, Arab Bank Switzerland, and Gazprombank Switzerland in senior banking roles as in charge of business development and trade and structured finance, covering the main commodities (energy, metals, and soft) and managing all kinds of financing solutions.

During his career, he has also worked in different trading companies as head of trade finance in charge of banking relationship and financial structuring. More recently, he has been a partner in the creation of a trade finance fund which would provide funding for small trading companies.

Frédéric joined Riverdale in September 2022 as Head of Trade and Structured Finance.

Vipul Shah is an astute professional with over 35 years of experience in the financial and accounting functions and currently heads the accounts for Riverdale. He manages company's financial accounting, statutory audits & compliance, treasury, trade finance, monitoring, and reporting systems.

Raj Nair joined Riverdale Commodities as Head of Trade Operations in May 2022. He is responsible for overseeing the global trade operations of the company spread across Switzerland, West Africa, UAE, and India.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with an MBA in International Business. His career spans more than 25 years in trading and manufacturing Industries and is well connected with banking and trading fraternities.

Prior to joining Riverdale, Raj has worked with MNCs like Stemcor and Cyrus Group and managed Trade Finance, Banking Relationship, Trade execution, Cross-trade, and Import-Export operations.

Misenga is a trade operator at Riverdale Commodities Geneva desk. She joined the company in May 2018 and has led operations including execution of contracts and financial securitization, day to day operations (vessel chartering, shipments follow up, import/export documentation, cargo inspections, laytime calculations, invoicing, various legal issues/claim handling/arbitration), demurrage claim management, etc.

Aleksandra is a Business Support Manager with 15+ years of experience in commodity trading environment. Her areas of expertise include KYC & Compliance, HR, Accounting as well as office and events management.

Aleksandra is with Riverdale since its inception in 2014.
